Sophos has started detecting the Securus client as a virus after a recent update. Sophos will remove the support.dll file from Program Files which is a core component of the Securus client. This will stop the client from starting up properly and can bring up error messages on the machine.

The error messages are shown below:

Any error messages received regarding the support.dll missing will be due to Sophos removing it.

To resolve this, we recommend creating a global exclusion for “Program Files (x86)\Securus\*” and then reinstalling the client.
