Securus NET servers running CentOS are now end of life and will need to be replaced before July 31st 2025 to avoid disruptions to the monitoring service.

Servers will need to be reinstalled with the latest Securus NET ISO.

New Alternative: Safeguarding Browser for iPadOS

For schools that use our Securus Net Proxy for their iPad deployments only, we're pleased to offer our new Safeguarding Browser for iPadOS as an alternative solution. This specialised browser is designed for iPad environments and provides comprehensive safeguarding capabilities without requiring a full network proxy setup. Many schools with iPad-centric environments have now found this to be an ideal solution for their needs.

How to Upgrade

To request the upgrade of your Net Proxy or install the Safeguard Browser, please email our support team at support@securus-software.com. Our support team will send you the required installation information and guidance for the new installation.

Deadline for Action

Please complete this upgrade by July 31, 2025, to allow sufficient time for implementation and testing before the legacy server is decommissioned.
