Nominated users will have the ability to add and remove supervisors from the mailing list to receive FMS alerts.
If you do not have the ability to do this and would like to, please contact a member of the support tem (support@securus-software.com) and we can arrange this for you.
A user must have a supervisor account and sufficient access before they can be added to the mailing list.
Create a New Supervisor Account to Receive Alerts
To add a new supervisor to receive alerts, click on the Supervisors tab.
Click Add to create a new supervisor.
Start by entering a username (you can use the email address for user), firstname, lastname and an email address.
Phone Numbers
If you want the new user to receive SMS alerts, enter a mobile number (no spaces) and tick Use number for SMS alerts.
Access Roles
Select the role that the new user should have and what OU’s the user should have access to.
AdminTechnician
This role can view all settings on the system but can only make changes to certain sections.
Can delete users and computers from All Users and All Stations.
Can create Organisational Units, User and Station groups.
Can move users and computers to different groups.
Can create and assign Acceptable Use Policies (AUP’s).
Technician
Can be assigned at the top level to allow an IT technician access to All Computers and Audit Logs within the Settings panel.
Managed
This role will give access to Securus Hub where the user can view escalated captures.
Viewer
This role can only view directly linked captures from a capture URL.
Direct links can be obtained by viewing the capture in the full screen view and then copying the URL from the address bar.
Hub Technician
Allows the user to create new supervisors and manage the mailing list.
Supervisor Manager
This role has the ability to create new supervisor accounts only and assign access up to their own access level.
For example, a supervisor account with the Monitor and Supervisor Manager roles can only create and assign access for other Monitor accounts.
Add To Mailing List
Select Yes to add the user to the mailing list, new options will be available.
Export To Hub
Send FMS escalated alerts to Securus Hub. Enabled by default.
SMS Alerts
This option will setup the user to receive SMS messages when an alert is sent. Requires the user to have a mobile number attached to their account.
Exports
This allows the user to show in the supervisor list when exporting a capture.
Visible
Similar to above, this will allow the user to show in the export list at all OU levels.
Passwords
SSO Only
This will hide the Password fields and allow the new user to only login using Microsoft SSO. Note that your MS365 Administrator will need to allow access to the enterprise application on your tenancy before this will work.
Generate Password
This option will send a one time password to the user’s email address. The user will be asked to set a new password upon first successful login.
Set Password
This option will allow you to manually set a password for the new account.
Password Reset on Login
Selecting Yes will force the user to change their password on first login.
Fill out the details as desired and click Save to confirm. You will now see the new supervisor account in the list.
A supervisor can also change their own password by clicking on the User button in the top right and selecting Change Password.
Edit a Supervisor
Editing a supervisor account will allow you to change the user’s details or set a new password.
To edit a supervisor, find the account you wish to edit and select it from the list. Then click on the Edit button.
Remove a Supervisor
To remove a supervisor simply select the account to remove and click on the Delete button.
Make Changes to the Mailing List
The mailing list can be found by clicking on Reports > Mailing List.
Users can be added (if they already have a pre-existing login account), removed or edited from here.
Add a Pre-existing User to the List
To add a pre-existing user account to the mailing list, click on the Add button.
Select the supervisor account from the drop down menu. Then select the settings you’d like the user to have.
Export To Hub
Send FMS escalated alerts to Securus Hub.

Click Add to finish.
Edit a Mailing List User
Users on the mailing list can be edited to change what they receive.
To edit a user, select the account from the list and click on the Edit button.
Remove a User From The List
To remove a user from the contact list, select the user you want to delete and then click on the delete button.
