The User Settings control panel will allow a supervisor to change their password or change the way the console behaves.

User Settings

can be accessed at any time by clicking the User button in the top right of the screen and selecting Settings.

The Account Summary page will open. This will show you the details assigned to your supervisor account, as well your access role.

Change Password

To change

your password click on Account Summary and scroll to the bottom of the page.

Select Yes for the Change Password option.

Enter your current password, a new password and enter it again to confirm.

Click Change Password to finish. A confirmation message will appear.

The Preferences menu contains behavioural options for the console.

Capture Display

Default display for captures?

Sets the List, Grid or Card view as the default in the thumbnail view.

Captures to see per page

Sets the default number of captures per page in the thumbnail view.

Display domain or school name?

This option whether the capture card displays the domain name for the school or the school OU name.

This option chooses whether going to the captures view loads New or All as default.

Capture Grading

Move to next capture on Save

Saving a capture will move you onto the next capture in the list when in full screen view.

Move to next capture on Delete

Deleting a capture will move you onto the next capture in the list when in full screen view.

Move to next capture on Grading

Grading a capture will move you onto next capture in the list when in full screen view.

Warning for actioning multiple captures

This setting will provide a pop up confirmation box when deleting or grading multiple captures at once.

Refresh captures on action

This option will change the captures view behaviour to automatically refresh the page when a capture is graded.

Default

Default Tab

This setting will choose what tab is displayed first upon login.

Different options will be displayed depending on what your supervisor role has access to within the console.

Directory Display

Expand Directory Nodes

If enabled, this will mean that the Directory tree will automatically expand when clicking on objects within the tree.

Disabling this will mean each node will have to be expanded manually by clicking on the arrows next to each object.

Sorting

Default sorting for captures

This will set the default sorting option for the captures view when you first log in. Date Descending is the default option.

Default sorting for user list

This will set the default sorting option for the user list in the settings panel.

Default sorting for station list

This will set the default station list sorting in the settings panel.

Click Save to accept any changes made.
